DESCRIPTION:You are invited to march in the annual City of Austin Historica
	l Juneteenth Parade on Thursday\, June 19! Students\, staff and community 
	will march behind the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ Juneteenth banner along with the All-Star
	 Band under the direction of Northeast Early College High School Band Dire
	ctor\, Rory Guice. Where to Meet: Please arrive by 9 a.m. at the Rising St
	ar Baptist Church located at 1710 E. 20th St\, Austin\, TX 78722. We will 
	walk together to the parade entrance. Length of Parade: The parade will be
	gin at 10 a.m. The parade route is approximately 1.2 miles. We will reach 
	the end of the parade route at approximately 11:30 a.m. If you park at the
	 church\, the bus will take you back immediately following the parade. You
	 also have the option to attend the Juneteenth Park Festival at the Rosewo
	od and Boggy Creek Park located at the end of the parade.  ***Transpo
	rtation to and from the parade is the responsibility of each parade partic
	ipant. What to Wear: • You are welcome to wear green\, red\, black or wh
	ite. • Wear clothing suitable for summer heat. • Wear comfortable walk
	ing shoes. • Bring water. Additional bottled water will be available dur
	ing the parade. • Sunscreen is highly suggested. • Wear a hat and/or s
	unglasses. • Íøºì±¬ÁÏ families are encouraged to attend and march with
