Rubric Release/Phase II Survey
The Phase II Survey: Rubric Release survey ran August 14–September 26, 2025. This survey focused on understanding of the school consolidation rubric and providing a space for open-ended feedback. For additional information please visit our . 3,509 valid responses were submitted, inclusive of all school sites. A large majority of responses were from caregivers of current students (73%), but we also heard from past or future caregivers (6%), staff (12%), community members (5%), students or alumni (3%), and service providers/ volunteers (1%). Across respondents, we saw a moderate understanding of both the rubric (3.13) and the next steps (2.82). For all types of respondents, understanding of the rubric was higher than understanding of next steps. Open-ended responses were coded into themes identified during priority alignment as well as ideas common to participant comments. Findings have helped leaders in drafting and revising plans, and will continue to shape transition.
Rubric Creation/Phase II Feedback Form
The Phase II feedback form was available June 24–July 11 and was shared during the School Consolidation Virtual Open Houses. It measured understanding of draft rubric components and collected open-ended feedback on the consolidation process. Ninety-eight responses were collected from caregivers (82), staff (14), and community members (2). Respondents represented 45 unique campus locations, though 26% came from Barton Hills ES. All Trustee District areas were represented with 33% from District 5, 13% from District 1, and 10% from District 4. Across respondents, average understanding of the rubric tool was 3.36 which represents between basic understanding and being able to discuss with others. Identifying details were removed from open-ended responses and shared with leaders to help inform final rubric details.
Priority Alignment/Phase I Survey

Responses from 14,024 participants will help the district understand what matters to our school communities. Findings will be used to refine ideas as we create the consolidation rubric this summer.
